For all those looking for cavaliers - please check out the Lucky Star Rescue. They have so many rescue dogs looking for adoptions. Please check this site out and adopt. I just adopted a tri-color rescue and she is wonderful. Believe me they make great pets.

She is absolutely adorable. Do you have any information on when she would be up for adoption? I am located in PA and have been looking for a cavalier puppy. Thank you so much!

I have owned Cavaliers previously(adopting one(middle age) from a friend relocated oversees in the military). My last Cavalier died from old age several years ago and I would love to share the experience with my youngest son. Our family lives on a 53 acre farm and I have 4 children (3, 9, 12, 14) who would love to love a Cavalier.

I adopted Sweet William in Feb of 2007 from this site. He is a love. I come back here often to read the stories of adoption but it seems , other than these messages, there is no activity here. Has the ckcs rescue disbanded? I hope not!
Sweet William (Sunny) was 8 to 10 years old when I got him. I was told he was hard of hearing, but discovered he is totally deaf. But its worked out great. I live in a retirement village, so barking can be a problem, but Sunny doesn't hear people or other dogs outside and does not bark. He is the most "balanced dog" I've ever known. I sometimes dog sit for others and Sunny is very accepting and friendly to other dogs. And not a bit territoral. He loves his lap time but mostly he loves his dinner time! He is a definite chow hound.

My 4-1/2 month blenheim girl Chloe is the best cure for a broken heart, (my 35 year old son died at work-brain aneurysm)...I've never owned a dog who will just calm you and help to mend your heart and eases life's path.
